In this case, we will use the Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) to determine the if there is any statistical significance difference among the three independent (unrelated) means obtained from the three groups (Small Medium, and large) To be specific, we will use one-way ANOVA (omnibus test statistic) This test does not tell with which group which specific group is statistically significant but only outline the statistically significant difference among the three group under consideration Some of the things we must observe before proceeding on with the analysis are that the dependent variable (pay rise) is measured at the ratio or interval level, the independent variable (the three groups) must be categorical, and the observations are supposed to be independent
