Writing good solos can seem daunting. I don't know, maybe you're
one of those weirdos who can just create a tearjerking shredfest
out of nowhere... in which case:

Congratulations, you're better than most of us.

For the rest of us, solo writing requires a lot of practice,
patience, inspiration, and a good, old-fashioned trick or two to
help the process along. Today, I'm going to walk you through one
process I've come up with, that follows the acronym "L.O.V.E."--
It's not as weird or sappy as it might sound (just happened to
