<br style="font-family:Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;font-size:18px;line-height:1.5em"> Hello none,<br style="font-family:Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;font-size:18px;line-height:1.5em">

What makes you sound like... well... you? What makes any
guitarist sound like them? Is it their tone? The brand of guitar
or amp they use? Use of modes, maybe?

In some way, the answer is yes and no to all of those. They're
all part of the whole, but none of them make up the entire
picture.

At the end of the day, it's each person's creative spark that
makes them stand out. That leads the way into how you select and
shape your tone, what scales you use, how you utilize technique,
etc.

I actually think that not just the GEAR, but the GUITAR ITSELF
can keep you from really being as musical and expressive as you
want to be. And that's because once we have a guitar in our
hands, all guitarists want to do is play. The key to creativity
and letting something new come out is to stop and listen to
what's happening. I'll tell you more about what I mean in the
video!
