airBaltic’s new travel experience bound for Budapest
Budapest Airport has today welcomed the arrival of its first CS300 flight with its closely-held airline partner airBaltic. The Latvian flag carrier will use the next generation aircraft on its three times weekly service between Budapest and Riga – the 1,101-kilmoetre sector being the Hungarian gateway’s primary link to the Baltic States.

 A new star is shining over Budapest. Michelin-awarded Onyx has just received a second accolade by the esteemed gastronomy guide, becoming the first restaurant in the Hungarian capital with a double-star rating. This prominent culinary recognition was announced at the 2018 Michelin Awards ceremony hosted in Budapest itself on Monday. Costes, Borkonyha and Costes Downtown maintained their prestigious one-star ratings from previous years. Stand25 received a Bib Gourmand recommendation, joining Petrus and Fricska, honored with the same distinction from 2017. Olimpia gained an Assiette Michelin, a recently introduced category.

Budapest Liszt Ferenc International Airport was announced ‘Best Airport in Eastern Europe’ for the fifth consecutive time by Skytrax.   Three new direct flights to USA from Budapest!












>From the beginning of May, three new long-haul flights will be available directly from Budapest: this way passengers can travel more easily to New York, Chicago and Philadelphia! American Airlines will operate daily flights to Philadelphia, while LOT Polish Airlines will fly to New York four times a week, and twice a week to Chicago.
